Tan Sri Azman Hashim, President of MAJECA, chaired the 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of MAJECA at the Banquet Hall, 26th Floor, Bangunan AmBank Group, Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur on 9 May 2016.

The meeting convened after the requisite quorum was obtained.
The President welcomed all members and the Executive Committee members and proceeded with the business of the AGM.
Tan Sri Azman Hashim delivered his address, highlighting the past activities for the period under review as well as forthcoming activities of the association. Thereafter the meeting proceeded to unanimously adopt the Annual Report and the audited accounts of the Association for the year ended 31st December 2015.

Tan Sri Azman Hashim, President of MAJECA met H.E. Dr. Makio Miyagawa, Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia on 6 May 2016 to discuss matters related to the 34th JAMECA-MAJECA Joint Conference that will be held on 1 June 2016 in Tokyo, Japan.
His Excellency was accompanied by Ms Keiko Aikawa, Commercial Attache of the Embassy. Datuk Seri Mohamed Iqbal, Vice-President and Honorary Secretary, MAJECA and Ms Ng Su Fun, Executive Secretary, MAJECA also joined the meeting.
