ASEAN-BAC Virtual Dialogue with Foreign Business Associations & Business Councils in Malaysia 2022 on 30 March 2022

ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Malaysia in reference to the ASEAN-BAC Malaysia’s Virtual Consultation Dialogues that was held on 22 February 2021, a report which contains a compilation of recommendations from Trade Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Professional Bodies, and Foreign Business Associations and Business Councils in Malaysia called Pathway for Malaysia 2021, has been submitted to the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).

ASEAN BAC Malaysia had organised a Virtual Dialogue to discuss the opportunities, outlook and challenges for Malaysia and ASEAN in 2022, and to compile policy suggestions for the consideration of the Malaysian government in helping Malaysian businesses as the world enters into the third year of the pandemic recovery phase.

The 2nd Session of the Virtual Dialogue had invited representatives from Foreign Business Associations and Business Councils in Malaysia. MAJECA was represented at this Virtual Dialogue by Datuk Seri Mohamed Iqbal, Vice-President on behalf of the President of MAJECA, Tan Sri Azman Hashim.
