Heartiest Congratulations to YBhg Tan Sri Azman Hashim, President of MAJECA on being conferred “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star” by His Majesty, the Emperor of Japan.

On November 3, the Government of Japan announced foreign national recipients of Decorations by Emperor of Japan for 2021 autumn conferment. Tan Sri Azman Hashim, President of Malaysia-Japan Economic Association (MAJECA), Chairman of ASEAN-Japan Business Meeting (AJBM) Malaysia, Chairman of East Asia Business Council (EABC) Malaysia, and Group Chairman of AmBank Group was honored the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star to recognize his outstanding contribution to promote economic exchanges and strengthen the economic relationship between Japan and Malaysia. The conferment ceremony took place on 2 March 2022 at the Residence of the Japanese Ambassador to Malaysia.
